Huh. Well, that's less than I would have thought - even though I know that they're hardly common any more.
And I'm guessing small cars / micro cars aren't much longer for being on this list.
When we bought our TDI, I asked the VW guy if he knew where VW was gong with the stick shift - and he said that they're committed to keeping it, definitely in the small cars like the Golf, Jetta and Beetle, but also in some of their mid-sized models.
Good news, but, of course, things change.
Hopefully Mini keeps on keepin on with the stick - a Mini with an auto (any auto) is a travesty.

Pretty soon everybody wont even be driving their cars themselves let alone shifting their gears.

Actually that list is bigger than I thought. The only problem is, most of those cars, mainly the rather civilian cars, are only available with a manual in the most stripped down models.
